R.I.P. DSL Modem

My DSL modem died last night - please forgive e-mail slow response times etc.

UPDATE: As Scott pointed out, my Sprint EVDO connection would have been handy right about now. Qwest claims they will have a new modem to me tomorrow - we shall see.

    Studies show common, affordable dsl modems will die out in a couple of years due to deterioration, given that they were used on a regular basis.
