Why donate? I believe that (at least on a small scale) great solutions come from a developer solving a problem that they want solved. I didn’t initially sell any of the software/plugins/code that I make available on this site because since I was already writing things that I wanted/needed, and I was willing to put in a little extra effort to try to make them usable by others.
I’ve left a lot of my projects available for free, and continue to do this to make a contribution to a community that I receive many benefits from.
I believe that if you use something and like it, you should encourage those who created it. I am always happy to send in donations when I find something I like and use; if for no other reason than it means I don’t have to build it myself.

Suggested Donation Amounts
I'm happy to accept a donation of any amount, it really is the thought that counts. Here are some amounts I feel are reasonable - feel free to ignore them if you want to:
- $25 for one of my free projects (Photos, PHP Tag Engine, PHP Doc System).
- $15 for the collection of WordPress plugins and the HTML Resume Template.
- $5 for a small hack or JavaScript that has saved you some time - or if you just enjoy the site/photos/blog/etc.
